About Us

We are Brendon and Narelle O’Connor and we have been farming in and around Opiki Horrowhenua for 23 years. A mix of beef finishing, cropping – onions and pumpkin and also a Nashi Orchard. The Nashi Orchard was planted and started by Brendon’s parents Barney and Eileen 35 years ago.

Nashi Pears are a crisp, juicy fruit. Best eaten cold from the fridge. Delicious Easton on their own straight from the fridge, cooked in muffins and cakes. They can be juiced. They are high in fibre and vitamin C. Our fruit are hand picked late in February and best kept in the fridge.
